Offering comfort, efficiency, and a contemporary design that remains true to the essence of traditional Aranese style, featuring high-quality materials.
The use of a hybrid system—combining a metal structural framework with floor slabs and a roof supported by glulam (glued-laminated timber) beams, along with facade enclosures made of CLT (cross-laminated timber) panels—creates a ventilated facade with stone cladding. This configuration provides excellent insulation and ensures low energy demand, even in a climate that remains extreme throughout the year.
The building is designed as a closed volume—comprising attached units with either two or three exposed facades, depending on the specific case—that facilitates natural cross-ventilation. This configuration is dictated by the geometry of the existing plots and the required setbacks from the boundaries, with the aim of optimizing land-use potential and ensuring a harmonious formal outcome for the development as a whole.
