A single-family home project in a residential development in Lleida. The house is designed to open up toward the plot to achieve optimal orientation, while ensuring greater privacy through a bold architectural form featuring a ventilated façade; large overhanging elements create varying degrees of privacy within the interior. Expansive double-height spaces extend the interior rooms outward.
The residence demonstrates a firm commitment to energy efficiency by incorporating an aerothermal heat pump system that supports underfloor heating and cooling; a controlled air-renewal system with heat recovery (including humidity control and NOx filtration); rooftop photovoltaic panels; a rainwater recycling system for irrigation; and home automation—ultimately resulting in an energy-self-sufficient dwelling (nZEB).
