For over 40 years, we have been providing specialist services in urban planning, the environment and spatial planning. We carry out analysis, planning and management of the urban and natural environments. We design processes for the transformation and management of cities and the countryside, urban regeneration, public participation and environmental sustainability. We offer consultancy, advisory, design and drafting services for all types of urban planning, environmental and land-use instruments and projects; as well as strategic planning, urban architecture, infrastructure and urban development, particularly for the agricultural, livestock, agri-food, processing, extraction, heritage and landscape conservation sectors, and the transport and freight forwarding sectors. Our clients include the leading companies in these sectors, and we possess specific expertise in urban planning in high-mountain areas and/or on land not designated for development or subject to special protection (regeneration of quarries, aggregate extraction plants, waste management centres, wildlife parks, campsites…), energy production plants or raw material processing facilities (photovoltaic solar plants, wind power, biomass, etc.) or as external town planning advisers to municipalities in the Pyrenees facing highly complex challenges (Naut Aran; Vall de Boí, etc.)
We firmly believe that urban planning and spatial planning play a fundamental role, as they enable the development of cities and their surrounding areas to be planned, thereby preventing uncontrolled sprawl and the fragmentation of the land; collaboration between the public sector, the private sector and society at large is essential to achieving a sustainable and responsible use of natural resources and the environment.
In all these fields, our experience has provided us with an excellent network of partners and in-depth knowledge of all the sectoral bodies involved in the process. Furthermore, we have learnt to work closely with our clients to achieve their objectives, finding innovative and efficient solutions for each project.
We draw up all kinds of instruments for the protection of cultural heritage and the natural environment, as well as for environmental assessment.
We draft all types of urban planning documents (partial plans, special plans, master development plans, etc.) and documents relating to the protection of cultural heritage and the natural environment, as well as environmental impact assessments; and we undertake the preparation of the technical documents required for the development and management of projects within the context of urban planning, land development, redevelopment and land consolidation processes. These services include the necessary negotiation, management and representation activities with the relevant authorities.
Every urban and territorial context has its own unique identity, which requires a creative approach to solving its problems. Based on this premise, our approach focuses on utilising technical and disciplinary knowledge, putting it at the service of the unique characteristics of each location. The aim is to devise proposals and solutions that can best guide the collective process of cultural construction which shapes the evolution of the city and the territory.
We advocate for the responsible management of natural resources, which is essential to ensuring their conservation and sustainable use. We are experts in assessing the environmental impacts of various activities, which enables us to anticipate and evaluate the consequences for the natural environment or heritage (impact and landscape integration studies, visual impact studies, risk assessments, etc.), which enable us to plan preventive or corrective measures to minimise or eliminate negative impacts, thereby helping to preserve natural areas and unique landscapes, protect biodiversity and ensure the quality of air, water and soil.
